LAWTHIEF Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 28, 2026
This privacy policy explains how Sadik Sazdagi / Orbylance Labs (we) handles information when you use LAWTHIEF: Physics Puzzle (LAWTHIEF).
INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
LAWTHIEF does not require an account. Campaign progress, stars, relics, Daily Law streaks, accessibility preferences, advertising-frequency counters, and a bounded gameplay-event queue are stored locally on your device. The local gameplay queue is used for in-app diagnostics and is not transmitted to Orbylance Labs in version 1.0. Deleting the app removes this local data, subject to normal device backups controlled by Apple.
INFORMATION WE DO NOT REQUEST
LAWTHIEF does not ask for your name, email address, telephone number, contacts, photos, precise location, health information, or payment information. The app does not request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission and does not access the IDFA.
ADVERTISING AND CONSENT
LAWTHIEF uses Google AdMob to provide advertising. There are no banner or app-open advertisements. Interstitial advertisements may appear only at eligible completed-vault boundaries. Rewarded advertisements begin only when you explicitly request a law clue. If an advertisement is unavailable, the clue is provided free.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically process information such as IP address for approximate location, device or app-scoped identifiers, advertisements viewed, ad interactions, product interactions, crash logs, and performance diagnostics. Google may use this information for advertising delivery, fraud prevention, analytics, security, and service performance. Learn how Google uses information from partner apps at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
LAWTHIEF requests non-personalized ads, disables publisher first-party identifiers, uses no mediation adapters, and limits ad content to rating G. Where required by law, Google's User Messaging Platform presents consent choices before the advertising SDK is initialized. Available choices can be reopened from Museum Settings > Privacy Choices.
SHARING AND SALE
Orbylance Labs does not sell personal information. Advertising-related information may be processed by Google and its service providers under their published privacy terms and applicable law. LAWTHIEF contains a spoiler-free LAWPRINT feature that copies puzzle text to the clipboard only when you choose to use it. Sharing that text through another app is controlled by you and by that app's privacy policy.
RETENTION AND DELETION
Local game data remains until you delete LAWTHIEF. Advertising information is retained by Google according to Google's policies and your consent choices. You can change available advertising privacy choices from Museum Settings. LAWTHIEF has no user account to delete.
CHILDREN
LAWTHIEF is a general-audience puzzle game and is not submitted to the App Store Kids Category. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. Advertising is configured for a maximum content rating of G.
SECURITY AND INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the limited information handled by the app. Google may process advertising information in countries other than your own according to its privacy terms and applicable transfer mechanisms.
CHANGES
We may update this policy when the app, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
CONTACT
For privacy or support questions, use the contact form on the Orbylance Labs website. Please do not send passwords, payment information, or other sensitive information.
This policy applies to LAWTHIEF version 1.0 and later until a newer effective date is published.
